PAVING, CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS TO BE APPROVED BY INDIANA BOROUGH COUNCIL TONIGHT

Indiana Borough Council will meet tonight, and the paving contract is expected to be awarded.

On the agenda for final approval tonight is the bid from Derry Construction for the 2024 paving project which came in at $178,895.  Another construction contract up for approval tonight is for the Marsh Run Wall replacement project.  The low bid of $120,000 was submitted by Boney Construction.

Also on tonight’s agenda is the approval of two open container waivers for gatherings in the borough.  One will be for a concert in the “00” block of South Carpenter Avenue for the Coney Alley concert on Saturday, July 27^th.  The other is for the United Way of Indiana County’s kickoff event that is scheduled for August 16^th on North 8^th Street between Water and Philadelphia Streets.

The meeting starts at 7:00 tonight at the borough’s temporary office on Water Street.
