After dropping their opening game at the Division II College World Series to Point Loma on Saturday, IUP looks for redemption this afternoon against top seed Central Missouri.
Central Missouri lost to defending champion Angelo State in 11 innings in Saturday’s nightcap while IUP lost to Point Loma, 2-1, in the first game of the tournament. Saltsburg grad Brady Yard drove in the lone run for the Crimson Hawks with a single in the eighth of that game.
