The Pitt Basketball team got some sour news on Friday after learning that one of their forwards had to go under the knife.
Soon-to-be-Junior Jorge Diaz Graham underwent surgery to repair a core muscle injury. The 6-11 Graham is expected to miss eight weeks. This is the latest injury he has suffered as he was limited to 16 games last season due to an ankle ailment in mid-January that required surgery and ended his season. He averaged 3.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in 10.4 minutes of action per game.
