IUP junior infielder Zach Miller received a top honor for his performance on the field and in the classroom.
Zach Miller was presented with the Elite 90 award just before practice yesterday morning at the USA Baseball Complex in Carey, NC. Miller, a criminology major and homeland security minor, currently has a 4.0 GPA. The Elite 90 award recognizes a student-athlete who reaches the highest in his athletic and academic careers. The Elite 90 is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA’s championships.
Miller is the 9th IUP student-athlete to win the award.
