Coach Pat Narduzzi got more help on the defensive line yesterday as Mississippi State transfer Anthony Johnson announced on X his intent to play at Pitt next year.
Johnson, a 6-foot-3, 300-pound defensive tackle, isn’t new to Pennsylvania, playing at Jeannette High in his junior year of high school before moving to Ohio. He recorded 25 tackles, 6-and-a-half for a loss, last year along with four sacks and a fumble recovery.
Johnson also had offers from Arkansas and Michigan State.
