State police are continuing to investigate an unsolved murder in Indiana County from September of 1985.
The case involves the death of 34-year-old David John Alexander, who was found dead near a pond in a wooded area of Black Lick Township. He was last seen at a bar in Blairsville on September 16th, watching the Steelers play on Monday night football, and was found with three shots believed to have been made by a .357 Magnum gun. He had been an informant for a state police drug task force.
PSP Tips on Facebook says that anyone with information should call the state police in Indiana at 724-357-1975, or call their tipline at 1-800-4-PA-TIPS. Those who supply information that would lead to an arrest, the solving of a crime or the location of a wanted person in this case could be eligible for a cash reward.
