Young Township used a four-run fourth inning and a quality relief outing from Chase Joblonski to beat Homer City Post 493, 8-7, last night.
Homer City took a one-run lead in the top of the third, but Brayden Wright evened the score at three in the bottom half of the inning. After Homer City scored a run the following half-inning to take a 4-3 lead, the group of Nick Kinter, Jablonski, Hayden Brink and Logan Badac put Young Township ahead for good with four RBI singles in the bottom of the fourth.
Jablonski earned the win on the mound after pitching three-and-one-third innings of four-hit relief, striking out five. He also had two hits and four runs scored. Badac tallied three hits.
Braden Dunn led Homer City with three hits including a double. Jon Cribbs took the loss after allowing five runs, three earned in two-and-two-thirds innings.
