The Pennsylvania Game Commission are encouraging artists across the state to participate in the latest Working Together for Wildlife design contest.
The 2025 contest focuses on the black bear. One or more black bears can be featured in a horizontal painting measuring exactly 22-and-a-half by 15 inches, or a vertical painting measuring 15 by 22-and-a-half inches.
Each painting must also have a three-inch-wide white border and left unsigned and unframed.
The artist whose painting is selected for the contest will receive $4,000 plus 50 artist proof prints. Additionally, cash awards will be presented to the runner-ups. Second place will receive $750, third place $500, fourth place $400, and fifth place $250.
