Indiana Area School District stakeholders have only a few days left to complete a survey on the future of the Horace Mann Elementary School. Based on prior feedback, the district has narrowed it down to five options:
- Keeping the building for academic use while renovating other buildings.
- Leasing space at Horace Mann to other educational providers.
- Leasing space to interested business, groups and organization regardless of the work they do.
- Selling Horace Mann to an education provider after the next academic year, when Eisenhower Elementary is back in service.
- Selling Horace Mann to any interested group, whether they are educational or not after the coming school year.
There is also a place on the survey for other ideas.
You can take the survey by visiting iasd.cc. Responses are due by May 31.
