DESPITE SOLID ROUND, IUP RUNNING IN PLACE AT D2 CHAMPIONSHIP

The IUP golf team carded 16 combined birdies, 10 on the final five holes, but couldn’t make a move on the leaderboard, still standing at 17^th place in the NCAA DII Men’s Golf National Championships at Orange County National in Florida.

Alex Swinnerton paced IUP with an even par 71.

Stroke play ends today and the field will be trimmed to eight for match play.
