Along with the vehicle-pedestrian collision in Indiana Borough, three other accidents were reported by Indiana County 911 over the last 24 hours.
The first of those three was at 6:16 PM on Five Points Road in Washington Township, with Creekside and Plumville fire departments, Citizens’ Ambulance and State Police called to the scene. The second was reported on Warren Road in White Township one minute later. Indiana Fire Association, Citizens’ and State Police were dispatched. The third accident was reported at 12:32 this morning along Route 56 East in Center Township. Homer City firefighters, Citizens’ and State Police were called out initially, with Brush Valley firefighters called out a minute later to assist on-scene.
Details on the crashes have not been released as of yet.
One other major incident was reported by Indiana County 911 yesterday. This was at 5:18 PM on Route 403 North in Cherryhill Township. A generator was reportedly on fire. Cherryhill Township and Clymer Fire departments were initially dispatched, with both Pine Township and Commodore fire departments joining in later.
