With the signings of their two third round draft picks, the Steelers now have deals for all but their top two selections in this year’s NFL Draft.
Wide receiver Roman Wilson, linebacker Payton Wilson, guard Mason McCormick, defensive tackle Logan Lee, and defensive back Ryan Watts all have come to terms and signed their contracts. Top pick Troy Fautanu (offensive tackle) and second rounder Zach Frazier (center) are the only draft picks still unsigned.
Also, veteran defensive lineman Cam Heyward, a Steelers captain, revealed that he has had talks with the team about a contract extension, saying he prefers to play three more years. Heyward is this year’s NFL Walter Payton Award winner.
