Indiana took on Obama Academy in a non-section game yesterday at the White Township Recreation Complex.

Homer-Center clinched the Heritage Conference West with an 11-2 win over error-prone Purchase Line, which committed 7 miscues. The Wildcats had 14 hits. After having three hits on Monday against the Red Dragons, Caleb Palmer had three more yesterday. Ethan Roser had three hits as well, and Brayden Rado and Braden Dunn each had two. Dunn threw a complete game, striking out 10 and allowing one earned run. Devlan Kordish was 4-for-4 for the Red Dragons and AJ Chambers had two hits.
Homer-Center will play Conemaugh Township Monday night for the Heritage Conference Championship at First Commonwealth Bank Field.
Marion Center scored 9 runs in the 3rd and cruised to a 14-4 win over River Valley. Alex Stewart and Camden Rising each had 3 hits and 2 doubles and Trey Slovinsky and Ethan Wells each had 2 hits for MC. Sammy Yanits had 3 hits for the Panthers.
Isaac Worthington had 3 hits and drove in 3 runs as United blitzed Portage, 11-1. Ryan Felix went the distance on the mound, striking out 9.
Jude Olinger had 3 hits and Cash Brocious had 2 as West Shamokin beat Penns Manor, 9-3. Carter Smith had two hits, a double and a homer, for the Comets.
Conemaugh Township topped Cambria Heights, 10-1.
Northern Cambria edged Conemaugh Valley, 4-3.
SOFTBALL
Marion Center tuned up for tonight’s Heritage Conference Championship game with a 7-6 win over River Valley. The Stingers pounded out 12 hits. Cheyenne Silvis and Brookelynn Hill both had 3 hits and Natalie Black had 2.
Marion Center meets Conemaugh Valley tonight for the conference title. The two teams played each other once this season, with the Stingers winning 11-6 on April 16th. Jake Slebodnick has the call of tonight’s game from Northern Cambria on Renda Digital TV, with the airtime at 7:15, presented by Innovations of Home and Crystal Waters Personal Care Home.
Conemaugh Valley belted Northern Cambria, 15-0, yesterday.
Homer-Center walloped Purchase Line, 18-0. No stats were provided.
Cameron Vandervort, Leah Mondi, and Avery Elkin all had 2 hits and Maria Young homered as West Shamokin blanked Penns Manor, 11-0. Mondi allowed just two hits in the shutout.
Portage shut out United, 6-0.
