Braxton Ashcraft threw five scoreless as Altoona shut out Somerset 3-0 last night. Ashcraft gave up two hits and two walks and struck out five. Jase Bowen and Jackson Glenn were both 2-for-4 and each doubled.
The Curve and Patriots will play another Education Day game today, with first pitch at 12:05 from right-hander Po-Yu Chen.
