The Steelers have signed another ex-Atlanta Falcon, wide receiver Scotty Miller, who becomes the fifth former Falcon joining his old coach, offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, in the Steelers locker room.
Miller’s a 5-9, 174 pounder who played four years in Tampa Bay before signing with Atlanta last year. With the Falcons, he caught 11 passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns. While he is yet another receiver in the fold, the team still has not found a big name veteran to replace Diontae Johnson, who was traded to Carolina earlier this offseason.
The Steelers have also added a familiar name to the list of unsigned rookies invited to their rookie minicamp. Former Notre Dame, Boston College, and Pitt quarterback-turned-tight-end Phil Jurkovec says he will be there when the camp opens tomorrow.
