HOMER-CENTER BASEBALL TEAM WINS RAIN-SHORTENED GAME AGAINST RIVER VALLEY

UPDATE: Today’s game between Homer-Center and River Valley has been cancelled due to the incoming storms. The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday night at 7:00 PM at First Commonwealth Bank Field and will be heard on WDAD and broadcast on Renda Digital TV. That also will be the day we will collect money officially for the Teddy Bear Fund Drive.

Homer-Center still wants to get the game between them and West Shamokin in for today. That game will be on Renda Digital TV and WDAD later today at 6:15, but that is subject to change due to the weather and field conditions. WHAT WE FIRST REPORTED

Rain and lightning shortened the game between Homer Center and River Valley last night, but the Wildcats won 11-4 in five innings.

The two teams will play again today as part of game one of the Teddy Bear Fund Drive double-header. Game two will feature West Shamokin taking on Homer Center. Coverage on Renda Digital TV begins at 2 PM, but we encourage you to come down to First Commonwealth Bank Field in Homer City and help raise money for the Teddy Bear Fund Drive.
