An Indiana man was sentenced to serve time in jail for having a sexual relationship with a minor last January.
Court documents say 21-year-old Joshua Neese will serve eight to 23 months in Indiana County Jail for a felony charge of statutory sexual assault, along with six to 23 months for a charge of corruption of minors and court costs. Those sentences will run concurrently.
State police said Neese had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl in January 2023. The two exchanged various sexual photos and texts on the website Discord. Police also discovered a meme in which Neese referred to the girl as “my underaged GF.” The victim, who was not named, claimed the relationship was consensual.
