The Steelers hosted two rather large men yesterday as their pre-draft schedule of visits continued. Oregon center Jackson Powers-Johnson was one of them. He’s long been considered a top target for the Steelers. He’s the highest-rated center in the draft. The other visitor was Notre Dame tackle Blake Fisher, who could be a sleeper pick in the second or third round. His college career was slowed by injuries.
On the veteran front, the Steelers have signed kicker Matt Wright to come back and compete with Chris Bosworth in training camp. Wright has been with the Steelers three other times and has kicked for them in seven games when Bosworth was injured.
