Mary “Mim” C. Pearce, 85, of Gipsy, PA went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Magee Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
The daughter of Charles S. and Cleora (Miller) Kime, she was born on October 14, 1938.
Mim was a graduate of Harmony High School.
On May 25, 1957, she married William J. Pearce and they shared over sixty-six years of marriage together.
She was a member of the Arcadia Presbyterian Church, where she served as treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary Services.
Two of Mim’s favorite hobbies were collecting lighthouses and wind chimes.
Mim was very devoted to her family and was the primary caregiver of her two handicapped grandsons. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community. We will miss her warm hugs and sense of humor.
She is survived by her husband William J.; her four sons: Charles Pearce of Gipsy, PA; James Pearce of Dixonville, PA; David Pearce of Gipsy, PA and Joseph Pearce and wife April of Commodore, PA; her four grandchildren: Charles G., Travis J, Marissa and Jayden Pearce; her three siblings: Tina Kime of Cherry Tree, PA; Fred Kime of Arcadia, PA and Pat Kime-Lemmon of Marion Center, PA.
Mim was preceded in death by her parents; and her two brothers: Tom and Bill Kime.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd., in Hillsdale, PA, where an 11:00 a.m. funeral will take place on Thursday, April 4, 2024 officiated by Pastor Sandra Atherton. Interment will be at the Rowley Cemetery in Hillsdale, PA.
In honor of Mim’s years of dedication to her church, memorial contributions may be made to the Arcadia Presbyterian Church at P.O. Box 107, Arcadia, PA 15712.
