Work is expected to get underway soon on a portion of Martin Road.
White Township road crews will install six drainage cross pipes on a 1.4-mile section of Martin Road between Fulton Run Road and Route 110. Crews will start work on April 8th milling the road in preparation of the project. Major work is expected to run April 9th and 10th from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM each day. The closing time will not affect any morning or afternoon school bus runs and local traffic to homes and businesses outside the work zone will not be affected.
Road closure and detour signs will be posted in advance of the work getting underway, and drivers should plan for extra time in case of delays. If the project is rained out, rain dates for the work are April 11th and 12th.
