Citizens in Center Township will get the chance to sound off on a countywide EMS solution at an upcoming public session.
At last night’s meeting, Center Township supervisors announced that they have agreed to move forward with exploring all options with the Indiana County Commissioners on the future of emergency medical service in the county. Supervisors Chairman Matt Housholder said the supervisors will not pass any ordinances on the issue without first having a public meeting to go over information with the township’s residents.
That meeting will be held sometime this month, but the date and location have not been set.
In other business, the supervisors announced that the start date for the Long Road Bridge project was moved to April 8th. Allison Park Contractors will be putting signs up soon in affected areas.
