A Blairsville man was charged with a drug-related crime for an incident in January.
Indiana Borough Police announced that a charge of possession of a controlled substance was filed against Devin Steffey. On January 27th, police encountered Steffey in the “00” block of South Taylor Avenue. He was found to have been wanted out of Westmoreland County and was taken into custody. A search was conducted and police found some Ziploc bags containing methamphetamine on his person.
The criminal complaint was later filed through district judge Tony Sottile’s office.
