PENNDOT TO CONTINUE RESURFACING PROJECT

PennDOT is announcing the continuation of a resurfacing project that started last year on Wayne Avenue in White Township.

In this phase, workers will focus on North 4^th Street from Philadelphia Street to Country Club Drive and at the intersection of Wayne Avenue, South 7^th Street and Locust Street.  Work is expected to happen during the evening, and the project will start on April 1^st and is expected to wrap up by the end of October.  During that time, traffic will be reduced to a single lane with flaggers posted in each direction.

This is the final phase of the $11.9 million project from HRI, Inc. out of State College, and is expected to be completed by October 31^st.
