Court documents show that 39-year-old Gregory N. Jones is charged with involuntary deviate sexual assault of someone under 16 years of age, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, statutory sexual assault and corruption of minors. At the time of the assaults, Jones was engaged to the mother of the victim. The victim came forward in August of 2023 and reported the to state police that she had been in a sexual relationship with Jones when she was 13 to 16 years of age.
An affidavit of probable cause said that Jones would contact her over Facebook Messenger and Snapchat, and they would share nude photos of each other. It was also discovered that he would wait for the victim’s mother to go to sleep before he would go into the victim’s room to have sexual relations with her.
