The River Valley School Board will meet tonight and on the agenda is the approval of a contract for a small remodeling project.
The project will be for the automation and engineering room and according to the draft agenda, Steve Shusko Framing will perform the project at a cost not to exceed $8,300. The money to pay for it will come from the Ready To Learn grant.
The board will also look at an agreement to replace the condensing unit in a cafeteria freezer at River Valley High School at a cost not to exceed $12,640 along with shipping costs. The money for the project will come from the cafeteria budget.
The board will also look at approving a modified memorandum of agreement with the district’s Education Support Professionals Association. The modifications change the wages, hours, and other working conditions for title one instructional assistants.
The meeting starts at 7:00 in the River Valley High School Auditorium, and will be streamed on the district’s YouTube channel.
