A special presentation on the IUP Indiana Campus Long-Range Facilities Master Plan has been scheduled for next week.
The event is planned for 5-6 PM on April 2nd at the PNC Room of the Kovalchic Convention and Athletic Complex. This session is designed for members of the community to hear updates and voice their concerns with the plan. The long-range facilities master plan is designed to link the University’s Strategic Plan with the long-range physical development of IUP’s campus over the next 20 years. The most recent update to the plan was developed by campus facility planners SmithGroup.
Updates to the plan originally put together in 2010 have been regularly approved by IUP’s Council of Trustees including the most recent round in January of this year. The latest update is meant to be a careful examination of how IUP is using its current space to create some recommendations for the future of the campus.
Other sessions are scheduled for IUP employees students from 9-10 and 11:30-12:30 on April 2nd in Sutton Hall’s blue room, and a special session to update students will be a part of the Student Government Association and Graduate Student Assembly on the same day.
