IUPatty’s weekend has arrived, and along with the incident we reported earlier in our newscast, roving patrols have been out and about in their efforts to keep the community safe.
No other major incidents have been officially reported by any police agencies or the Indiana Area Collaborative Team, but I-ACT media representative Michelle Fryling said that law enforcement has been monitoring social media closely as part of the enforcement efforts. She added that many rumors had been going around concerning a potential stabbing in the area, which she said are unfounded. She advises that if anyone sees anything unusual to call police or 911 immediately.
