The IUP Baseball team swept Gannon yesterday, playing the equivalent of three games in one day.
The Crimson Hawks willing to work overtime to get the win in game one, 4-3 in 14 innings. Game two was a standard seven-inning game that IUP won 9-6. Au’sean Owens was stellar at the plate for the Crimson Hawks, going 6-for-8 with two runs scored. Harrison Pontoli, who drew the game-winning walk in the opener, finished the day with five RBI.
