Preliminary hearings are scheduled for today for Indiana County’s District Courts, including a man who is charged with assault and harassment for an incident on March 6th.
Police in Indiana Borough charged Alexander Charles Ofman. Officers said they were dispatched to the 400 block of School Street at 11:26 that night for a report of an altercation and discovered through their investigation that Ofman caused bodily injury to another person, who was not identified in the police report. He is due before District Judge Anthony Sottile at 2:15 this afternoon.
Also due in court today is 18-year-old Sean Patrick Kelly of Indiana. He is facing charges of rape by forcible compulsion against a juvenile for an incident on October 18th of last year. His hearing before Judge Anthony Sottile is set for 9:30 this morning.
