The 64-team NCAA Tournament tips off today with 16 games, followed by 16 more tomorrow, and there’s plenty of local action at PPG Paints Arena, where Clarion grad John Calipari brings third South Region seed Kentucky to play against number ten Oakland tonight, tipping off at 7:10.
The afternoon games at PPG Paints Arena tip off at 1:30, with Midwest number three Creighton playing number fourteen Akron. That’s followed by another Midwest Regional game, between number six South Carolina and number eleven Oregon, at 4 o’clock. After Kentucky and Oakland tonight, the night concludes with South number six Texas Tech taking on number eleven North Carolina State.
