A Blairsville woman is expected to enter pleas today in connection with a case where she faces charges of criminal homicide.
Court documents show that a plea court hearing is scheduled for 2:00 this afternoon for 30-year-old Matraca Lynn Vrana, who faces charges of criminal homicide, voluntary manslaughter and aggravated assault for the incident on September 10th of 2021. On that day, she allegedly shot her boyfriend, 27-year-old Matthew Hill of Blairsville. At the time, police said that the two were involved in a domestic dispute when Vrana grabbed a rifle and allegedly fired a shot, hitting Hill in the head.
Vrana has been in Indiana County Jail since her arrest. Jury selection for her trial is expected for next week, but that could change if she enters guilty pleas today.
