STEELERS RELEASE ALLEN ROBINSON

The Steelers have released veteran wide receiver Allan Robinson

Robinson was acquired in a trade last season with the LA Rams and while he started in all 17 games, he had only 34 receptions for 280 yards and no touchdowns.  His release saves the Steelers $10 million in salary cap space.

The Steelers also released cornerback Patrick Peterson on Friday.
