Pitt football coach Pat Narduzzi had his players on the field at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex yesterday for the first day of spring practice. He had seven quarterbacks throwing the football, including the nominal starter, Nate Yarnell.
One-hundred-ten players strapped on their helmets yesterday. Narduzzi can hold 15 practices this spring, including the Blue-Gold Game at Acrisure Stadium on April 13th.
IUP begins Spring Practice on March 22nd.
