The Penguins had the day off yesterday after returning from their four-game road trip Sunday night. They’ll be back on the ice at PPG Paints Arena tonight taking on the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Yesterday, the Penguins placed forward Matthew Phillips on waivers with the hope that he goes unclaimed and can be sent down to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Phillips played three games with no points for the Pens after being claimed off waivers from the Capitals on February 16th. He’s been a healthy scratch the last five games.
Faceoff tonight is at 7 o’clock. The airtime is at 6 on U92.5 FM.
