At a meeting Monday night, the Center Township Supervisors approved an agreement to share their emergency management coordinator with Brush Valley Township.
Supervisors approved the resolution that authorizes the move for coordinator Sarah Shaffer, who said she was offered the job after the Brush Valley coordinator passed away.
In other news, it was announced that the Long Bridge project start date was moved back to April 1st. This will allow more setup time for the project that is expected to take two months to complete. The project replaces the bridge that goes over Muddy Run with a two-lane 24-foot wide, 30-foot span bridge, and returns the temporary bridge that has been in place back to its storage facility.
