Steelers GM Omar Khan sure made it sound like Kenny Pickett is his starting quarterback as he spoke yesterday at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. Khan said he’s looking forward to seeing how new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith helps Pickett develop and he has “full faith” in Pickett’s ability. He also said he’d like to have Mason Rudolph return next season.
Pickett played only 12 games last season due to an ankle injury, and threw for just over 2,000 yards, six touchdowns and four interceptions.
Khan says “everybody” in the Steelers organization has to be better next year, so they’re playing in the Super Bowl, not watching it on TV.
