NFL teams received their annual report cards from the league’s players association Wednesday morning, and the Steelers received poor reviews in several categories.
The biggest negative remarks came in the “Ownership” and “Locker Room” categories, both of which received failing grades. The Steelers also achieved a rare “F-” in the “Treatment of Families” categories.
With those grades, each of those areas fell in the bottom three in the league.
Other categories receiving mediocre or poor grades include:
- Team Travel (D)
- Training Staff (C)
- Weight Room (C)
- Training Room (D+)
- Nutritionist/Dietician (D)
Head Coach Mike Tomlin earned an “A” grade from the NFLPA. Food/Cafeteria earned a “B-” and strength coaches earned a “B+”.
As a team, the Steelers placed 28th in the NFL.
