Pitt was riding a five-game winning streak into last night’s game at Wake Forest, including a win over the Demon Deacons, but the Panthers were downright awful in a 91-58 blowout loss.
After scoring 41 points against Louisville on Saturday, Blake Hinson could manage only 10 points last night. Ish Leggett led Pitt with 15 points and Jaland Lowe had 12. Wake Forest had a 10-point run and a 12-point run in the first half and started the second half with a 19-4 run that put the game away.
Pitt will play a tough Virginia Tech team on Saturday at the Petersen Events Center. The Hokies blasted Virginia, 75-41 on Monday.
