The Indiana girls started their WPIAL playoff run with a win over Moon last night at 5th Street Gym. Jake Slebodnick has the recap.(43-34 win.)
The District 6 playoffs go on, with two Double-A boys games on our Renda Media stations tonight, and one of them on Renda Digital TV.
Seventh-seeded Homer-Center visits number two Northern Cambria on WCCS and Renda Digital TV. The Colts have won two in a row and four of their last five. Homer-Center has lost four of their last five.
Northern Cambria won, 47-44 when the two teams met in the season’s first Heritage Conference game, way back on December 6th. Our airtime will be 6:40.
Two other Heritage Conference teams clash tonight when number 6 Marion Center makes the short trip to number three West Shamokin. They’ve played each other twice this season, with Marion Center winning the first game on December 19th, 45-40 and West Shamokin taking the second game, 39-34 on January 24th. Pregame begins at 6:40 on Cat Country 106.3 FM.

Also tonight, number five seed United travels to play number four Claysburg-Kimmel. The Lions have struggled of late, suffering a four-game losing streak before beating Mount Union by ten points on February 13th. The Bulldogs enter the playoffs on a five-game win streak.
Top seed West Branch will host number nine Southern Huntingdon.
Two Heritage Conference boys teams were in action in Class A last night. Top seed Conemaugh Valley bested Ferndale 73-50. Number four Portage lost to fifth seed Bishop Carroll, 70-56.
