IUP’s Ethan Porterfield is the PSAC West Men’s Athlete of the Week and Nyshae’ Weaver is the PSAC West Women’s Athlete of the Week for their performances against UPJ and Edinboro.
Porterfield posted 33 points against UPJ and 35 points against Edinboro. He’s averaging 30.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 59.2 percent from the field in his last four games.
Weaver averaged a double-double – 10.0 points and 15.5 rebounds in the women’s wins. That includes a 28-point night against UPJ and an 18-rebound game against Edinboro.
The IUP teams will host Seton Hill tomorrow night at the KCAC.
