The IUP Baseball team lost to UNC Penbroke in the season opening double-header, 15-6 in game one and 22-3 in game two.
In Game one, Davin Landers for IUP had scored a run and had three hits in four at bats. Harrison Pontoli had three RBI for IUP. In game two, Ricardo Ponte had two RBI on one hit.
IUP finishes out the weekend series at UNC Pembroke today.
