The Penns Manor School Board will meet tonight and the superintendent’s evaluation will be up for approval.
According to the draft agenda for tonight’s meeting, the 2023 evaluation of Superintendent Daren Johnston rates him as “proficient”, which is the highest rating that can be given in the evaluation. The board will also post a statement on Johnston’s rating on the district website.
The board will also look at approving the ARIN IU 28 general operating budget for next school year. The budget comes to just over $3.4 million with the district’s share being $22,690, a decrease of $187 from last year. The board will also look at a memorandum of agreement between the district and the Penns Manor Education Support Professionals.
Tonight’s meeting will start at 7:00 in the district board room.
