Three Pitt Panthers and ten Penn State Nittany Lions have been invited to the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. The three from Pitt are defensive back M.J. Devonshire, wide receiver Bub Means, and offensive lineman Matt Goncalves. Among the ten Penn State players are two first round prospects, offensive lineman Olumuyiwa Fashanu and outside linebacker Chop Robinson.
The College Football Playoff Board is set to vote next week on a revised 12-team format that would give automatic bids to the five highest-ranked conference champions, plus bids to the next seven highest ranked teams.
