A Homer City man accused of making methamphetamine is due in court today for a review hearing.
State police filed the charges against 58-year-old George Sager after an investigation on December 18th at a home on Route 56 East. Troopers found all the items needed to run a “one-pot” meth lab along with a spent “one-pot”. State police then called in their clandestine laboratory response team was able to clear the scene and gather evidence. Sager is charged with operation of a meth lab, two counts of depositing, disposing or storing chemical waste, possession of ephedrine, possession of a controlled substance and simple possession.
A motions hearing is set for March 13th and a criminal call hearing is scheduled for April 5th.
