An Indiana man was charged with theft following an investigation that opened in January.
Indiana Borough Police were informed of an instance of theft and access device fraud, and upon investigating, determined 38-year-old Daniel Wetzel of Indiana stole someone’s credit card and made several transactions between December 1, 2022, and January 1 of this year. Officers found him in the 1000 block of Philadelphia Street Thursday evening and took him into custody without incident.
He was placed in Indiana County Jail and charged with access device fraud, receiving stolen property, and theft from a motor vehicle.
