The 2024 Soup-er Bowl was a great success for the United Way of Indiana County.
The annual event, held last Monday, was once again hosted by the Hilton Garden Inn, and featured soups from the C.H. Fields Craft Kitchen, Romeo’s , 9th Street Deli, Spaghetti Benders and Levity Brewing in competition with each other to find the best soup in the county. According to a post on the United Way’s Facebook page, close to 1100 bowls of soup were sold. 44 deliveries were made to local homes and businesses. 139 total orders were placed. The event raised a total of $9,484 for the 2023-24 annual campaign for the United Way.
The most popular soup on the day was the Beer Cheese Soup with Pretzel Crouton served by C.H. Fields Craft Kitchen, making the restaurant a four-time champion of the event.
