State police have arrested a Marion Center man on charges connected with an incident at a business in Green Township.
Police say 42-year-old Paul David Llewellyn is charged with burglary, criminal mischief and criminal trespass. He was identified as the suspect in the burglary at Betty Lou’s on Route 286 near Commodore early in the morning on February 2nd. Police say at 4:11 that morning, he shot out a side window with a 12 gauge shotgun and entered the building through the broken window. He fled the scene prior to the arrival of troopers who were tipped off via a burglar alarm. While there was extensive damage reported, nothing was taken in the burglary.
Llewellyn was taken into custody this morning and was arraigned before District Judge Christopher Welch. He was placed in Indiana County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing is set for February 12th at 9:00 AM.
