There is one more mile to go on the Road to the KCAC…it’s Heritage Conference Championship Night, after the girls’ semifinals last night. Penns Manor and River Valley are set to meet for a third time this season after their big wins.
Penns Manor knocked out United. Todd Marino has the story. (47-33 Pens Manor win)
Comets coach Jason Miloser says his girls were patient in the first quarter.
Miloser is already looking ahead to a third matchup with River Valley for the conference title.
River Valley had to go on the road in their semifinal, but the Panthers didn’t let that bother them against Portage. Jake Slebodnick was there. (46-30 River Valley win)
River Valley coach Ricc Brown knew his girls would do whatever it took to get the win.
Brown is thrilled that River Valley will be in both the girls and boys championship games.
Penns Manor has won both matchups against River Valley, including a narrow two-point win just last week.
The Road to the KCAC Presented by First Commonwealth Bank Friday night tips off with the girls game between Penns Manor and defending champion River Valley at 6:00, followed by the boys game between River Valley and Conemaugh Township. We will be on the air on Cat Country 106.3 FM and Renda Digital TV at 5:30.
