At a meeting Monday night, the Center Township Supervisors learned more details about the upcoming Long Road Bridge project.
The project will remove the temporary bridge that is currently in place over Muddy Run, and to replace the deteriorating bridge with a new two-lane 24-foot wide, 30-foot span bridge. Supervisor Jim Bence said that they now have an idea of when the temporary bridge will be removed and when the project will get underway.
In other business, the supervisors reminded citizens that 2024 Evergreen Landfill coupons are available at the township office. The coupons will allow township residents to bring items to the landfill at 1/3rd the normal cost of one load. This can only be used once in 2024.
