A 19-4 run early in the second half fueled Pitt’s 70-60 win over Notre Dame yesterday. Blake Hinson scored 17 points and Bub Carrington 16 for the Panthers. Ismael Leggett came off the bench and scored 13.
It was Pitt’s 300th win at the Petersen Events Center. The Panthers are 14-8 overall, 5-6 in the ACC. Pitt will be at NC State on Wednesday night.
